Chance Mann Participating in the MBA’s Future Leaders Program
We are proud to share that BMG Client Relations Specialist Chance Mann is one of 35 national participants in this year’s MBA Future Leaders Program. Established to build leadership skills through training, collaboration, peer activities, and networking, the prestigious program prepares a select group real estate finance pros who will shape our industry’s future.
According to Chance, the program’s class of 2023 had the privilege to gather in Washington D.C. last month where they heard from industry leaders and participated in team-building exercises meant to emphasize the need for core leadership principles. In addition, each class member created a personal leadership philosophy.
Chance reports that the highlight of the week was a trip to Gettysburg, PA. The group spent part of the day at the Lincoln Leadership Institute learning about the importance of transformational leadership on the battlefield and in life. The morning also included a visit to the Gettysburg Museum and concluded with a retracing of the steps taken by the Confederate Army on July 3, 1863 – famously known as Pickett’s Charge. Chance says it was a day that he will not soon forget.
As the week was wrapping up, they broke out into groups and received team assignments. Over the next few months, Chance’s team will work on a 3-year business plan for a mid-sized IMB (or bank) that leverages today’s market opportunities to maximize investor returns. Together, they will make a presentation at a public session at this year’s MBA Annual on October 15 in Philadelphia.
Well done, Chance! We look forward to hearing more about your experience in the months ahead.
