The 2021 Texas power crisis — a result of severe winter storms in February and a massive electricity generation failure — won’t soon be forgotten by those of us who lived through it. The resulting shortages of water, food, and heat for many Texans only compounded the crisis, with many members of our team and their families personally impacted.
Yet, heroes arose from this catastrophe, and Greg, Shawn and I want to commend our incredible team for your resilience during the storm. Our IT team scrambled to find new solutions to keep us working through the hardship, while team members outside of Texas picked up extra files to ensure seamless customer service despite the hardship.
Our thanks to each of you for your perseverance, your care for one another, and your positive attitude.
