Down in Houston, they celebrated the Astros making it to the World Series once again! Just like they do it at Minute Maid Park, the BM&G team was treated to lemonade and peanuts as they rooted on the home team!
In early October, Tom hosted Stacy Curtis, president of mortgage at Independent Bank Mortgage, and his daughter, Emily, for a Notre Dame football game. As a member of Clemson University’s volleyball team, Emily had traveled to South Bend the day before for a match against Notre Dame. As it turned out, the Tigers lost to the Fighting Irish. But despite Clemson’s volleyball loss, Tom reports he and the Curtis gang enjoyed the weekend capped by his alma mater’s victory over Bowling Green.
