Last month, I shed some spotlight on a new team member who espoused our customer-first philosophy. This month, I’d like to spend some time doting on another outstanding member of the BM&G team, Flower Mound Shipping Director Monica Sowell, whose priority is turning investment packages around to investors promptly and precisely.
In the decade since Monica came aboard, she’s seen her fair share of changes. But despite the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, she continues to provide excellent customer service with her trademark personable style. But she says it’s less about what has changed — and more about what’s remained constant.
“What’s stayed the same all these years? Camaraderie and the people,” she says. “Our firm has the most wonderful people, from top management all the way down. They’re the reason I’ve been here as long as I have. I really miss seeing my work family every day.”
Outside the office, Monica is a “Dog Mom” to two rescue Chihuahua/Dachshund mixes — Chase and Keven — who are the light of her life and source of constant entertainment. She also loves spending time with her mother, who lives nearby and retired a few years ago from a long career in the title industry.
Even at one of the busiest times in the history of our firm’s business, I am astonished by the customer-first work ethic and perseverance of so many of our team. I want to thank you, Monica, for your dedication to the firm, your team, and our wonderful clients!
