From time to time, I am asked by team members to give them advice about how to be successful in our exciting, fast-paced business. For me, the key is training and education – and learning everything you can about the mortgage industry. At BMG, we offer learning sessions to our team as part of our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiative. But opportunities for training and education don’t stop there.
Rachelle Rowan was recently selected to participate in the TMBA’s Future Leaders program, now in its second year. The two-day event is designed to develop leaders to guide our industry in future years. As I write this column, Rachelle is in Dallas for the program where she’s learning about mortgage issues and trends, the importance of aligning values with your work, problem-solving, and working with teams.
