For 14 years, Kelli Looney has been a cornerstone of Black, Mann & Graham’s fulfillment department, earning a reputation for her meticulous attention to detail and unwavering dedication. Starting at BMG in September 2010, Kelli has navigated the complexities of her role with grace and skill, ensuring every file she touches meets the highest standards of accuracy and quality.

“When I pick up a new file, I go through it to make sure all the correct documents are there so we can input them into our system. Then, I perform quality control to ensure everything looks good and the terms match,” Kelli explains. Her work involves close collaboration with lenders and title companies to ensure seamless processing. “No two files are alike,” she notes, a challenge she embraces daily.

A Supportive Team Environment

Kelli’s role isn’t just about the files; it’s about teamwork. The fulfillment department in Flower Mound, now comprising five dedicated individuals, thrives on collaboration. “If someone is out, we all pitch in to cover their desk,” Kelli says.

She credits her manager, Millie Simmons, for fostering an environment of mutual respect and appreciation. “Millie’s words of thanks and acknowledgment throughout the year mean a lot to me because words are my love language,” she shares. “It’s these small acts of recognition that make me feel valued.”

A Life Beyond the Office

While Kelli’s professional life is marked by precision and collaboration, her personal life showcases her deep connections with family and friends. As a devoted aunt, she dotes on her 10-year-old nephew, frequently attending Texas Rangers games together or enjoying family dinners filled with laughter and board games. A lifelong Rangers fan, Kelli’s loyalty to the team has never wavered, even during their less successful seasons.

Travel is another passion that fuels Kelli’s life outside of work. From visiting college friends in California to embarking on annual Christmas-themed trips with a friend, Kelli’s adventures bring her joy and inspiration. “Last December, we visited Seattle’s Christmas market and took a ferry to Victoria to see the Butchart Gardens’ Christmas lights,” she recounts. Her 2025 travel plans are already shaping up with a California trip in March and a family getaway to Disneyland in July.

In quieter moments, Kelli enjoys reading historical fiction, particularly stories set around World War II, allowing her to unwind and reflect.

Kelli, thank you for going the extra mile each day for your team and your clients. We appreciate you!
