Dallas-based Legal Assistant Allison Kelley says her nine years as part of the BMG team have passed quickly thanks to loving what she does each day, appreciating the firm’s leadership, and constantly learning something new.
She adds that her supervisor, Lisa Costilla, is understanding, caring, and knowledgeable, saying, “It’s the people and friendships you develop at Black, Mann & Graham. All of the bosses are great, and they treat us well and with such care.”
Staying productive in her home office, Allison reviews lender docs along with title and survey in her day-to-day duties, ensuring they are accurate and compliant. She also handles full doc draws which include verifying title/lender fees, escrows, taxes, and hazards.
She is the proud mom of two adult children who live nearby — daughter Megan and son Kyle, who works in BMG’s doc prep department. As an added perk, she gets to care for her granddogs. Allison enjoys being outside with her new vegetable gardening hobby when she’s not hanging out with family and friends. She recently planted potatoes, carrots, and lettuce varieties on her mobile raised beds that she can position to get plenty of sunlight. Since the pandemic hit, she says she’s developed a new appreciation for gardening.
Allison, thanks for going the extra mile each day for your team and clients!
