Syndy started practicing law over 28 years ago, supporting Calvin Mann and Dave Dulock at a previous firm. She took a break from her professional career to raise her sons Reese and Hank before meeting back up with Calvin in the fall of 2011. Calvin asked her to join the firm as a part-time attorney, and today she’s a full-timer providing her legal expertise, supporting Diane Gleason and Regina Uhl.
Syndy credits her BM&G family’s support for helping her make it through the after-effects of Hurricane Harvey, which caused flooding and extensive damage to her home. “The firm and teammates really stepped up and helped my family and me,” she said. “The silver lining is that Harvey has given us a new perspective. We are finally back in our home, and so happy to be there.”
A bright spot for Syndy, husband Matt and their sons has been their annual trek to Disney World, which started when her oldest son Reese played in a basketball tournament there 14 years ago. Reese just graduated from his parents’ alma mater, the University of Texas at Austin, and is back to Houston to start his first full-time job in investment banking. She is so excited to have him back in Houston.
