This month we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., on Monday, January 17. Dr. King was a minister and social activist who led the U.S. civil rights movement from the mid-1950s until his death in 1968. King dedicated his life to the non-violent struggle for equal rights for African Americans. His leadership played a pivotal role in ending segregation and led to the creation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Our own Calvin Mann recorded this video titled Life Lessons where he recounts the meaningful quotes of those he has admired throughout his life, including Dr. King. Calvin believes these words embody the spirit and values of the BMG team.
