Well, it’s been a minute since we last profiled our longest-tenured Client Service Representative, Jeff Bolen. Make that, six years! The last time we put Jeff in the spotlight, he and his wife Rhiannon were tending to two school-age sons, Logan and Liam, and cheering them on at school events.
In those six years, Liam grew to be a 22-year-old college senior at the University of Colorado at Denver (UCD) where he’ll start his final year this fall as a Psychology major. Last year, he played on UCD’s club soccer team and was elected captain. He also teaches 8–17-year-olds at a TOCA soccer training family. After graduation, Liam hopes to pursue a career in residential real estate in Colorado.
Younger son, Logan, will begin his freshman year at The University of Texas at Arlington this fall. An accomplished drummer, he graduated this spring from the Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Logan and his jazz ensemble were awarded two prestigious Downbeat Awards recognizing up-and-coming musicians.
Jeff and Rhiannon, herself a 24-year industry veteran, still enjoy spending time with their sons and traveling when they’re not working. The family returned from 10 days in London earlier this summer and prior, spent time in Colorado on Liam’s home turf.
Asked what advice he’d give someone just breaking into the industry, Jeff says he’d recommend they get involved in local, state and national organizations to network, meet people, and learn as much as possible. Jeff has heeded his own advice. He recently received his CML certification from TMBA. He’s also served on the DMBA board and participated in the MBA’s National Advocacy Conference in Washington.
Jeff says culture is what he appreciates most about BMG. “The people are really great, and their work ethic and integrity go above and beyond. Our partners and leadership have always treated us well and are very supportive of the team.”
Jeff, thanks for being a great member of our team, for treating our clients like family, and for being a great BMG ambassador!
