Many BM&G team members are proud parents, grandparents, aunt and uncles, too. That may explain why we have such a soft spot for kids who need a hand up. Our teams in Dallas and Flower Mound supported two back-to-school efforts this year to help children in our community start the school year ready to learn.
In Flower Mound, our staff participated with our sister title company, Shawn P. Black and Associates/Stewart Title, on a ‘Stuff the Bus’ drive to collect school supplies to fill backpacks in collaboration with the Greater Lewisville Association of Realtors. In all, the team provided 41 backpacks, helping organizers collect a total 1,213 backpacks loaded with pencils, pens, notebooks and more! Check out the Stuff the Bus gang in the photo below.
Meanwhile, our Dallas office teamed up with Buckner International and Mint Dentistry for their annual Shoes for Orphan Souls drive to ensure kids are properly outfitted for the school year. While the drive was still ongoing at press time, organizers in the office report the team is rallying behind the cause. Pictured here with a pile of 43 pairs of donated shoes and 63 pairs of socks are (L-R) Janey Moore, right-hand helper to Allison Kelley, who initiated the idea with her office.
