David M. Tritter

David M. Tritter has practiced in the areas of Commercial and Residential Real Estate Law, Mortgage Lending and Banking. Mr. Tritter earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Texas in 1975. In 1979 Mr. Tritter received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law.


Mr. Tritter is contributing editor to Texas Mortgage Lending Law and Practices Deskbook.


Mr. Tritter’s affiliations include the Mortgage Bankers Associations (local, state and national), Mortgage Brokers Associations (local, state and national), Texas Land Title Association, Texas Association of Mortgage Attorneys, Texas Bar Association. 


Mr. Tritter’s other affiliations include co-founder and former Director of Shanks, Tritter & Associates, P.C, Title Agency of Texas, Ledbetter and Tritter, P.L.L.C., Royal Oaks Bank (now known as First Bank). He is also a director of My Friends Foundation (a children’s charity).
