We are happy to announce Attorney Logan Hastings joined the firm in February, working from the Houston office and reporting to Ryan Black. In 2013, Logan graduated magna cum laude from the South Texas College of Law with a transactional skills certificate in real estate law. Before law school, he served in the U.S. Army and later attended Texas A&M University where the avid outdoorsman graduated with a degree in wildlife and fisheries sciences.
He began his legal career representing Fortune 500 oil and gas companies, practicing oil and gas title examination and commercial real estate law. He later joined the real estate law firm Brown, Fowler, Alsup & Polasek representing mortgage lenders, title companies, and home builders.
His experience in real estate law and title examination paid off when he was hired by Black, Mann & Graham where he represents lenders making mortgage loans, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations governing our business. Logan also drafts and reviews real estate documents and enjoys working closely with Attorney Syndy Davis and Paralegal Eva Grimaldo.
Outside the office, Logan spends time with his family, including his wife Leann, and two sons, ages 3 and 7. The Hastings family enjoys taking their camper to destinations across the state including Galveston Beaches, Canyon Lake, and various State Parks. Logan and his wife also travel to favorite destinations like New Orleans and Fredericksburg. In addition, he enjoys managing his oldest son’s baseball team and deer hunting in South Texas.
