Black, Mann & Graham, LLP was proud to participate in the inaugural mPact Summit held March 7 at the JPMorgan Chase & Co campus in Plano, Texas. mPact is the Mortgage Bankers Association’s network for young professionals in the real estate finance industry. The Summit was created to provide professional development sessions for young mortgage bankers.  Ryan Black joined Bronwyn Morrissey, Joni Brown-Haas, and Christopher Montes on a panel to discuss difficult conversations. Ryan and his fellow panelists discussed their experiences having difficult conversations throughout their careers and provided advice to attendees on how to navigate those challenges with peers, managers, and direct reports.

On March 6, BMG sponsored mPact’s fundraising event at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. The event raised money for MBA’s Opens Doors Foundation which provides mortgage and rental assistance grants to parents and guardians of critically ill or injured children.   Thank you to the MBA, Jacky Salazar, and Opens Doors for organizing these successful events. The BMG team looks forward to attending the 2024 summit.
