As the BMG family knows, we gathered everyone together on Zoom last week to share some big updates! Tom told us he’s stepping down as Managing Partner after founding our firm more than 20 years ago. The change is effective December 31. We’re thankful he’ll continue to be a resource to the team and clients, joining Calvin Mann as Of Counsel to the firm. Tom says he’s looking forward to spending more time with family, hanging out at his home in Florida, and cheering on the Fighting Irish and Buffalo Bills.

Greg Graham and Shawn Black will assume leadership of the firm as Co-Managing Partners. Greg will manage the firm’s attorneys, as well as legal functions of the firm, including legal staffing, Clients and Friends memos, and seminar participation. Shawn will manage operations, including the firm’s continuous improvement initiative, HR, and non-legal staffing.

As Tom shared, the Co-Managing Partners bring a combined 60 years of experience to their new roles — and will ensure we continue to deliver the same quality of service our customers have come to expect from us.

And that’s not all! Tom shared that Houston Managing Attorney Ryan Black has been promoted to Partner, continuing his oversight of the Houston office, in addition to managing the firm’s excellent sales force of five account executives, and other marketing functions of the firm.

Congratulations to all on their new roles!
